Projects

Here are a few selected examples of my work in the context of participatory strategy and culture design and team coaching. What all these projects have in common is the approach of empowering my clients to rediscover themselves and their togetherness, while addressing and solving their challenges from a collective perspective.

  • Led the design and facilitation of a 4-month 'Purpose Journey' for the premium sportswear brand BOGNER, engaging a company-wide project team in a highly participative approach. Conducted primarily remotely due to COVID, this initiative focused on rediscovering and reigniting the brand’s core reason for being, while also uncovering its foundational corporate values.

    Through a deeply collaborative process involving voices from across the organization, the team collectively uncovered an authentic purpose that resonates with BOGNER’s identity. Additionally, four central corporate values were identified, seamlessly connecting the company’s rich heritage with its vision for the future. This project demonstrated the power of inclusive teamwork in shaping a shared and meaningful direction for the brand.

  • During the COVID pandemic, an automotive company seized the opportunity presented by the home office period to reimagine its workplace vision. I led the design and facilitation of a participative, interdisciplinary project team through a Human-Centered Design journey to tackle the challenge of creating a flexible, future-ready office environment. 

    The process was highly collaborative, with the company-wide team engaging in remote digital workshops to ensure inclusivity and diverse perspectives. Together, we delved into insight generation to understand employees' needs, identified design territories that aligned with their work and collaboration dynamics, and developed prototypes to test ideas. This iterative journey culminated in detailed spatial concepts that shaped the new office design, prioritizing adaptability and functionality for the future of work.

    By guiding this participatory process, I helped the team translate human-centered insights into actionable design solutions, ensuring the new workplace vision truly supported employees' evolving ways of working and collaborating.

    We were also supported by our architectural partners from Designliga.

  • Another high-light project I’ve co-led was the design and facilitation of a participatory process to develop and implement a new leadership philosophy at AOK Baden-Württemberg—one grounded in a collective "WE."

    This journey involved engaging all leadership levels and nearly 1,200 leaders in an inclusive and iterative process. Through design sprints, small- and large-scale workshops, and experimental phases, we collaboratively shaped a leadership philosophy that truly reflected the organization's collective values. My role as a facilitator and coach was to create spaces for open dialogue, authentic connection, guide the process, and empower participants to co-create meaningful outcomes.

    A cornerstone of this initiative was the integration of Leadership Navigators—key facilitators trained to embed this philosophy across all areas of the organization. Additionally, I supported the refinement of the corporate mission statement, which we introduced in a creative, hands-on way, including a custom-designed game to bring it to life.

    This experience reinforced my belief in the power of participative processes and inner work to drive authentic, sustainable change.

  • As part of a company-wide restructuring at McDonald's Germany, we designed and facilitated a two-day offsite for the newly formed ESI division under the theme "From Workload to Team Flow." The program combined inner stillness and reflection with meaningful interpersonal connection and practical problem-solving—sprinkled with a touch of playfulness.

    In addition to fostering stronger emotional bonds within the team and a deeper understanding of the system, the offsite resulted in concrete action steps to improve efficiency and workload management. Clear action plans with defined responsibilities ensured sustainable implementation.

  • In a dynamic market environment, the marketing leadership team of a German bank faced the challenge of redefining its direction. The two-day 'Reflection-to-Action' workshop provided the space to pause, refine goals, and then move forward with renewed energy.

    Starting with individual leadership goals, the team developed a clear shared vision and reorganized priorities. By intentionally alternating between reflection and concrete future planning, the team succeeded in realigning its collaboration. The outcome: sharpened strategic and operational goals, clear principles for effective leadership, and actionable next steps for an agile, future-oriented marketing organization.

  • The company Athletic Sport Sponsoring faced the challenge of repositioning itself in a highly competitive market. Using a participatory approach, we guided a company-wide project group through four phases: from team onboarding, in-depth insight research, and collaborative vision development to the creation and implementation of brand elements.

    The process began with clarifying expectations and work rhythms, followed by exploring psychological anchors and defining potential positioning spaces, the value cosmos, and core identity. Building on this foundation, we developed the brand name and design, which were subsequently evaluated. During the implementation phase, we ensured consistent application through regular "Creative Reviews."

    The result: An authentic brand identity that is embraced from within, aligning the company’s DNA with its ambitions—while engaged employees act as passionate brand ambassadors.
